My kids absolutely love homemade ice-blocks. I am that mean Mother that says no to them as we walk past the Zooper Doopers at the grocery store. I definitely don’t deprive them of enjoying a treat or two, however there are some foods or treats I don’t purchase and choose to have easy access to. When they don’t know any different, they are happy to enjoy a delicious, cold and healthy ice-block that they can make with me! Winning! Mix up the flavours so it keeps them interesting and so they feel as though they got to choose their flavour.

Ingredients:

  • 6-8 iceblock molds
  • 500g fresh strawberries or raspberries
  • 1 400g can coconut cream

Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until it becomes a smooth consistency.

Have a taste to see if mixture is sweet enough, add small amount of raw honey or rice malt syrup if needed.

Pour into ice-block molds and place in the freezer for at least 6 hours or overnight to set.

Yummy!
